Terms of Service
Plain language, and short enough to actually read. These terms cover what you get, what you pay, and what each of us can expect from the other.
What ExamProtocol is
ExamProtocol is an independent study tool for certification exams. We write our own practice questions from publicly published exam outlines and official vendor documentation. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by dbt Labs, Snowflake, Databricks, or any certification body, and we do not administer any exam.
We never reproduce real exam content. If you believe a question on our platform is derived from live exam material, tell us and we will remove it while we investigate.
Your account
You need an account to use the paid product. Keep your credentials to yourself — an account is for one person. Sharing an account, or reselling or redistributing our questions and explanations, ends the subscription without a refund.
Subscriptions, billing and renewal
Plans are monthly, quarterly or annual, and each one includes every exam we have shipped for as long as the plan is active. Your plan renews automatically at the same price at the end of each period until you cancel.
Cancelling takes two clicks in your account. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not pro-rate part-periods. We will email you before any price change, and a price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
The pass guarantee
The guarantee is a separate nine-line policy and forms part of these terms. Its conditions and claim process are set out in full on the guarantee page.
What we do not promise
We cannot promise you will pass. Practice materially improves your odds; it does not replace understanding the subject, and exam outcomes depend on you and on decisions the certification body makes without our involvement. Our answers and explanations are researched and cited, but they can contain errors — where we are wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
The service is provided as-is. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape, bulk-export, or republish our content; do not attempt to break the service or reach other users’ data; do not use the service to build a competing question bank. Running the SQL proof cells is explicitly encouraged — they execute in your own browser and touch nothing of ours.
Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by cancelling. We can end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and if we do so without cause we will refund the unused part of your current period.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms we will post the new version here with a new date, and email account holders when a change is material. Questions: hello@examprotocol.com.
